Saswato Keka is the brain child of Keka Banerjee that is devoted and dedicated to the destitute and physically handicapped ones of the society. Keka,  from her childhood had the vision for these handicapped people and instill the feeling in their mind that they are not handicapped,  neither dependent on others. With this aim, a non-profitable voluntary organization was built by the people, of the people and for the people whom people say handicapped but they say for themselves that they are self sufficient. Today, people from all walk of life have stood by the organization

with their resources and the organization intends to grow more with the involvement of more number of incumbents. The mastermind Keka Banerjee says that “ we have in our mind that times are different; our habits of thought, the mental backgrounds to which we relate, our experience are not quite the same as those of so called classical times.

We have while undertaking our activities in the society, amongst physically challenged (not handicapped, as people say) particularly the visionless/sightless  people, we try to reshape an un-aimed into an entrepreneur so that he or she can be an organizer  of an economic nature especially one who organizes, owns, manages and is able to assume the risks of a business, an attempt to build up opportunities for being small entrepreneur. In any manner, whatsoever and in every way this is to imbibe the testing spirit of entreprenewal quality and definitely a firm social involvement. There is a new awakening in the Indian society. Those days are gone, when physically challenged were awaken as burdens of the family and society in general. We have to assert through our activities the authority of moralities over technology and a useless accumulated wealth.

And that is the fundamental idea behind our organization, Saswato Keka.
